Recorded in 2019, Imani and I discussed her experience growing up as a Black person in a predominantly white neighborhood of Seattle, and she shared some of her passion for literature and specific authors. It turns out that Imani has intentions of writing a book one day, so I'm thinking we'll need a follow-up podcast years from now.
