Watch Evangelical Steven Pynakker interview Jonathan Neville. In this episode we discuss the "Heartland Model" of Book of Mormon events. Over the last century the Meso-American model has been the dominate narrative regarding where events of the Book of Mormon took place. Now a new movement is gaining momentum that advocates for what many of the early Saints and church leaders thought about where these events occurred. This, is what I hope, will become an on going conversation amongst all the different viewpoints of this issue. I welcome advocates of other models to approach me and make a proposal to come on and be interviewed as well.
