Prior to founding SouthCap Brokerage Group, Kav was a Vice President at Credit Suisse in their Longevity Markets Group. At Credit Suisse he focused on longevity & mortality products. Previously, he spent two years with Highland Capital Brokerage and five years with Capitas Financial as a third party consultant for advanced wealth and business transfer strategies.

Kav has served as a guest speaker for the Society of Financial Services Professionals, the Financial Planning Association, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the Million Dollar Round Table, and the Southern Federal Tax Institute.

He is a resident of Atlanta, GA and is a member of Peachtree Presbyterian Church. He volunteers with the Boys and Girls Club of Atlanta, Hope Ministries, SafeRide America and MARR Atlanta. Kav attended the Georgia Institute of Technology where he earned his B.S. in Business Management. He was a member of the varsity golf team. He and his wife, Celia, have one son, Huxley, an aspiring golfer.
