Up until 2009, if you loved Greek music and lived in London, there was one place and one place only from which you buy your music: Trehantiri. The shop was run by the Pattalis family. Yes, you could pick up the latest release but it also sold gig tickets, instruments, newspapers and magazines, not to mention Eurovision releases and Arab music.

I caught up with Lakis Pattalis over Zoom (even though he lives 10 minutes up the road) to discuss how the shop started and the difficult decision to close the shop following the death of his brother, Aki.
