As consumers, can we buy our way to a vegan world? Last June, we chatted with Laura Reese from Agriculture Fairness Alliance] and we learned that it’s not as easy as voting with our dollars.

We invited Laura back for an update on what Agriculture Fairness Alliance] is doing to help make the playing field a bit more fair for farmers who are diversifying into fiber-rich food crops. As of now, there are not many incentives for farmers to produce fiber rich crops. We also discussed why fiber rich crops are essential for the health of our people and climate. Laura also sheds light on the social justice and national security issues that are involved.
