In this episode I will be talking to Lorenz Holder, Germany based sports photogapher. When it comes to creativity in the sports photography I guess it just cant get any better than this 📸 Even though I know his photos, when I saw the selection he sent me to use in this post, I was really impressed 🙌🏼 If you check all the category and overall winners of the Redbull Illume since 2013, you will find his name being mentioned 9 times. 2xcategory and overall win in 2013, 2xcategory, overall win and athlete choice in 2016 and 2x category win in 2019.
You probably all know the Riding Throne project where he followed the locations from the Game of Thrones and the result was just 😲👌🏼
There are many things that we will go through from his beginnings in photography, about his approach to sports photography - "In my photos I like to show the viewers a different angle, something they normally wouldn’t notice, even if they were there at the scene", about the creative process, the business side of his photography, obviously about Redbull Illume and much more.
