In his book “The Meaning of Marriage” Tim Keller writes, “To be loved but not known is comforting but superficial. To be known and not loved is our greatest fear. But to be fully known and truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God. It is what we need more than anything.”

Pastor Schulz, the former pastor at Trinity Lisle, is the founder of Fully Known and Truly Loved, an organization that seeks to help churches recognize their blind spots, grow in their understanding, and reach out in a loving way to the LGBTQ people who are eager to be part of a caring faith community.
