Her professional experience includes working as an attorney, as the Chief of Staff to former Oakland City Council President Ignacio De La Fuente, as an aide to former Oakland Mayor Jerry Brown, as the Director of Public Affairs for the Port of Oakland and as the Senior Policy Adviser for Community & Economic Development of Oakland, California.
