Camille Schrier competed in the Miss America competition as Miss Virginia 2019 when she captured the title of Miss America 2020 on December 19, 2019. Inspiring young girls across the nation to pursue studying the sciences, Camille performed a science experiment showing the "catalytic decomposition of hydrogen peroxide." Her talent has been viewed by millions across the globe. She is a proud graduate of Virginia Tech University, earning dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biochemistry and Systems Biology with honors. She is now pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy at Virginia Commonwealth University. Camille desires to utilize her time as Miss America 2020 to promote her social impact initiative of "Mind Your Meds: Drug Safety and Abuse Prevention from Pediatrics to Geriatrics." Camille has been seen on numerous media outlets such as The Today Show, CNN, Inside Edition, The Kelly Clarkson Show and much more. Additionally, she was awarded the "Engineering Champion Award" by the Phi Sigma Rho National Sorority.
