Danny Brigman is a member of the Spokane Tribe of Eastern Washington, and of the Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc band of British Columbia. Danny is also a board member of Renew Earth Running, an organization dedicated to promoting the knowledge of indigenous sovereignty over land that runners, and other recreationalists, utilize, and to provide a means of bringing to life that recognition.
Danny organized the Kamloops 215 ultramarathon. This 215-mile run honored and recognized the 215 children whose remains were found under the Kamloops Indian Residential Boarding school.
