Interview with Neil McMahon and His Story “Deus ex Buick”

Neil McMahon shared his story in front of a live audience at The Wilma Missoula, MT in September of 2016. Neil is working as a carpenter on a construction site in a remote part of Montana when the call comes from his New York City publisher. Neil calls his story “Deus ex Buick”.

Neil McMahon grew up in Chicago and moved to Montana in 1971. He is the author of a dozen thrillers, his favorite is “Lone Creek”, set near Helena. He’s married to Kim Anderson, who has been deeply involved with the Montana Book Festival since the beginning. Learn more about Neil and his work here.
