Sarah is the Director of Volunteer Teams at Lakewood Church where she oversees the amazing team of volunteers who serve during the worship experience each week. She is passionate about developing individuals with their God-given gifts and skills so that they can walk in the purpose God has for them. Sarah graduated from Texas Christian University with a degree in Social Work and went to on receive her Masters degree from the University of Texas in Arlington, she is a LMSW.
Sarah and her husband JJ have been married for 13 years and have three wonderful children, two daughters and a son, ages 11, 8, and 3.
In this episode, she shares how God is working in her life from leaving a degreed career to work in ministry, how her marriage to JJ has broken cultural boundaries and how she tries to balance it all.
