Shahba Shahrukhi currently serves as a Visiting Assistant Project Scientist at the University of California, Irvine. Previously, she worked as a professor in the Department of Psychology of Balkh University and as a practicing psychologist. She continues to serve her community today as a member of the Afghan Youth Leaders, where she works to advance equality, political participation, and the right to education for Afghan women and girls.
