Pr Tapi was raised in a home that was divided spiritually. Mum was a
Christian, but Dad was involved with evil spirits and didn’t want anything to do
with the Bible. In his home, Pr Tapi experienced the conflict between good
and evil. At the age of 8 he decided to go with the most powerful side—God.

Although Pr Tapi had an amazing memory for Bible verses and was able to
give systematic, easy to understand Bible studies to his cousin and friends, he
pursued a career in teaching as a stepping stone to getting into medicine.
