The CPSC and Intimidator have recalled Intimidator and Mahindra branded utility vehicles.  At low temperatures, the throttle cables on these UTVs may stick, and the vehicle’s brakes may be unable to stop and control the vehicle leading to crashes and injuries.  Also, certain 2022 Intimidator GC1K vehicles have defective onboard speed governing software that fails to restrict the speed to 15 mph if the operator’s seatbelt is disengaged. About 16,000 of these vehicle were sold nationwide.  If you have any of these vehicles, contact your Intimidator or Mahindra authorized dealer to schedule a free repair and to receive a software fix for the speed limiter.  For more information and to check whether your vehicle is included in this recall, phone Intimidator toll-free at 1-855-307-0933.
