We are finally doing our study over the creation narratives in Genesis 1-3!  Genesis 1-3 has shaped people's view on the origin of life and the universe as we know it, it has shaped people's view of the step by step process that God used to the universe, and it has also shaped people's view on the trustworthiness of the Bible (for better or worse).  Every single one of us whether we know it or not approaches Genesis with questions, cultural assumptions, or expectations that we look for it to meet.  Is this the correct way to read Genesis?  Should we be taking a closer look at the way Ancient Israelites would've understood the text?  And most importantly... What is Genesis 1-3 really mean?
