A genuine trailblazer, Rostom founded Surviving Hijab - a Women's-only community designed to spread awareness about the Hijab and the challenges women who wear it face. In 2015, Rostom gained international prominence when she became Nike's first veiled model, athlete, and coach.

In October 2021, at just 23 years old, Jamie was crowned two-time W Series champion. Alongside the female-only championship, she also competes in Extreme E and is a development driver for Williams in Formula 1. In this episode, she discusses her experience onboard the SailGP F50 – the coolest boat in sailing – plus innovation, technology, sustainability and how to create a level playing field in world-class, elite sport.

Episode 4 of Into The Depths takes us to Saint Tropez for a sunset session as we catch up with Denmark SailGP Team presented by ROCKWOOL athlete - and Olympic champion - Anne-Marie Rindom. The Danish gold medalist achieved her lifelong dream of taking victory at the Olympics in Tokyo this summer, but it almost wasn’t to be, when a freak circumstance on the final day of fleet racing saw her hopes of a win slipping from her grasp. Anne-Marie reveals what her coach told her during the lowest point of her career, how she dealt with adversity under the global media spotlight - and how she bounced back under pressure to take the win less than 48 hours later.

Alex tells all about joining the team onboard the foiling F50 for the ride of a lifetime …and reveals some of his biggest challenges as he has risen to become one of Denmark’s most in-demand actors. Episode 2 of Into The Depths sees us arrive on British shores, to connect with Red Bull athlete and professional big wave surfer Andrew Cotton. Born in the city, he has conquered some of the most fearsome waves on the planet – including Nazare in Portugal, the home of the world record wave. But the life of a big wave surfer isn’t easy, and he has also had to tackle some huge challenges, including breaking his back whilst taking on the ‘Mount Everest’ of surfing. Andrew sits down with host Jonno Turner to discuss what it feels like to ride a wave ten storeys high, bouncing back from an almost career-ending injury, and why we all need to take better care of our oceans.
