Join Michelle and Howie as they welcome Rob Dunbar from Rob Dunbar Productions. Rob started a first year production company named Rob Dunbar Productions in Waldo,Maine.  He started a fundraiser with his friend Lisa Elkins named Friends Of Warm Waldo, a benefit to help with heating assistance here in Waldo County. One of his heroes Tanya Hubbard started  "Warm Waldo" years ago and she has helped so many people,a true inspiration.

      Rob asked Rowdy Yates from The Original Country Gold if it would be ok to have a CG dance for one of the benefits. He said yes and sent music from one of his past shows.He also included 5 promos talking about my event and on the last one he said a "Rob Dunbar Production". That was the inspiration for his companies name.

      Most people that start a production company have either been in a band or have some kind of business degree pertaining to productions of music. Rob does not have that back ground, he truly loves entertainment and trying to make people happy. For him there is nothing like asking someone to perform at one of the concerts or to sell their wares at one of the events. 

      Rob's influences were watching bands like Kiss,AC/DC,Garth Brooks and Jimmy Buffett put on their amazing live shows. So energetic,fans jumping out of there seats. He thought, "someday I want to do shows like that." His first four concerts will be this summer in Unity and Brooks Maine. 

      So many people have helped Rob get this far. The first event he ever produced was in his garage and to now be in position to have a successful summer concert series is truly amazing to Rob. He wants to make everyone that believes in the cause and him successful. It is a ton of pressure to make sure people's hopes and dreams come true but at least Rob will not be accused of not working hard enough to make that happen.
