Elena and Anahit are sisters living in Berd, a town in the Tavush region of Armenia, abutting the border with Azerbaijan. They are gatherers.The sisters discovered wild blueberries and taught people what to do with them. We met them in the Women Support Center in Berd in September 2021. Anahit told us the story of gathering in nature, also why she prefers wilderness to cities.
