Why are you following Jesus? What are you expecting him to do for you? As we continue our series on the scandalous words of Jesus we look into his words regarding what it will cost to be a disciple. Jesus calls us to have no higher devotion than himself. When we do, we ask for people to give to us things they have not the power nor ability to give. We must turn to Jesus, the source of all we are truly and deeply longing for.
