It is is foolish to excuse the influence that the "spirit" world has upon the "natural" world. Especially when the Bible teaches us in Ephesians 6:12, "Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We must awaken to the battle that we were equipped to fight.In Revelation 2, the church of Thyatira receives a strong warning from God that is relevant for today. He tells them, "I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel." God is reminding them of their assignment and their call to purity.This passage is not only a relevant teaching tool, but is a message to The Bridge Church today. We also are in a "spiritual" battle against a Jezebel spirit. Any church or person that burns for Jesus to get His full reward and longs for the nations to know Him as their Savior will battle this spirit.
