You may not recognize his name but I am sure that your life has been effected by him and you have deafeningly used his invention before.

We had Dr. John Goodenough on the show today because he is one of the most influential inventors of our time and I am personally trying to hook him up with Elon Musk. This man invented the lithium ion battery more than 30 years ago and was the original developer of random-access memory (RAM).

At the young age of 94, he is still working at the University of Texas Austin and just made another new breakthrough in battery technology… AGAIN.

This new invention is so important and is going to revolutionize the next 30 years to come that even Google's CEO Eric Schmidt was tweeting about Dr. Goodenough.
