This week we begin our Christmas series looking at the way each of the gospel writers introduce Jesus. They all start in quite different ways and they are all highlighting an important truth about Jesus. Today as we look at Matthew 1 we will see that Matthew introduces Jesus as the fulfillment of promises, to Abraham and David, but not the way that was expected. He was a King who came to save people from sin, He is "God with us."
