Angel Miller-Barrino is the founder of Purpose and Praise Ministries. The ministry was established as a way to inspire and teach God’s people the truth of the Word while also bringing restoration to broken lives. Her goal is to use her own life experiences to show love to those suffering from broken relationships and marriages.   Through many challenges and triumphs she has received restoration from God. Being a survivor of toxic relationships she has truly given her a heart for community outreach and building God’s kingdom through the edification of his people.   Barrino is a praise and worship leader, a Christian writer and recording artist. She has worked with various artists and willingly shares her gifts through word and song. Among her other achievements, she has participated in the recording of two albums. One of which she was lead vocalist for the song “The Storm”. She is also a former member of the group the Promise under the direction of Jeffrey Adams.   She is currently recording her first solo album scheduled to be released in late 2012. She currently resides in Greensboro, NC. Her first book entitled “His Purpose My Praise,” was released in September of 2010 which is also available in Spanish. In December 2011, she released “Becoming One Flesh: Marriage God’s Way.” As she now speaks out about her tumultuous relationship with Joseph W. Barrino, father of American Idol Winner Fantasia Barrino, she emphasizes the importance of forgiveness and building healthy relationships in all areas of life.   Join us this Tuesday night for a Special show for our Special guest "Angel Barrino".
