This is a short trailer,  it is a recap of what's happened and a preview of what's to come. Over the first two seasons we've built up a library of information about elements homeowners need to choose including doors and windows bath fixtures, skylights, roofing lighting. I spoke with contractors to get their advice on getting started and choosing contractor. I've interviewed architects and interior designers about their views on all sorts of topics, including psychological aspects of design and my favorite are the renovation stories. I love old houses and I love stories. So to me, this is a great addition to the episode types in season two. This third season we'll be talking more about sustainability and we will be hearing even more from architects with a new episode type called an architect's perspective. In honor of the third season, there's a new arrangement of the House Mavens Jig written and performed here by Neil Perlman on both Banjo and piano. Neil wrote the tune for me last summer and I love it and he's given me permission to use it again as my podcast theme music.
