A talk by Dayanandi to introduce the Rainy Season Urban Retreat at Manchester Buddhist Centre – 20th April 2013

In the Buddha’s time, the Sangha traditionally stopped wandering during the monsoon rains and collected together for weeks of shared spiritual practice. Our annual urban retreat for Order members and Mitras within the Triratna Buddhist Community comes from this inspiration.
