Sports journalism has undergone revolutionary changes since the turn of the millennium. Internet and social media spaces have opened up the medium to all manner of voices, and the immediacy of information has altered how we produce news. One thing that hasn’t changed: people want to connect with their athletic heroes by hearing their stories, their opinions, their approach to their craft and their approach to their lives. I'm Craig Morgan and that’s what I’ll be doing with The Focus, PHNX Sports‘ newest, and bi-monthly series in which we sit down for in-depth interviews with the executives, managers, coaches, players and journalists whose names are synonymous with Arizona sports.
