In this introduction, Jesse talks about her life in the four years since wrapping up the Just The Tip podcast, including a little about her 3-year narcissistic abusive relationship that recently ended. She shares the origin and mission of the You Don’t Own Me podcast, and gives a brief overview of intersectional feminism. She then has her brag sesh as she talks about the hardest thing she’s ever done: quitting drinking after a decade of alcoholism.

It is an incredibly hard time to be a woman right now, in the US and worldwide, but we are not alone and we are so much stronger together.
