It’s no different when he meets bush poet Murray Hartin. For Adam Briggs, tough has always been about survival.  A Yorta Yorta man, he grew up in Shepparton, Victoria, before moving to Melbourne and making his mark through music and comedy. In this episode, Henry Rollins talks to Briggs about what it was like growing up in a small town, and how returning home has changed the way he thinks about tough.

Adam Briggs

Clover Moore has been involved in politics for 38 years and for the last 14 she's been Lord Mayor of Sydney. She's stood in 13 elections and won them all. But it hasn't been easy - she's copped her fair share of criticism along the way, which Clover says has often been quite hurtful. But as Henry Rollins discovers, she's made of pretty tough stuff.

Clover Moore

In 2015, pro-surfer Mick Fanning made international headlines when he was attacked by a great white shark while surfing in South Africa. The viral news clip shows Mick staring down the shark before giving it a whack and getting away. It doesn't get tougher than that, but as Henry Rollins finds out, there's way more beneath the surface with this guy.
