Something Else is a topical podcast co-hosted by Alexis Scharfenkamp and Logan Winford that takes a deeper dive into the ongoings of the week to learn something new and something else.

Alexis has a master’s degree in Postsecondary Education: Student Affairs with a Certified Nonprofit Professional Credential (CNP). She also earned her bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and Public Relations making her a one-stop-shop for saying a lot of things that make sense.

Logan is a science boy who has a bachelor's degree in Physics and Earth Science. He is a one-stop-shop of run-on sentences and liking numbers more than real people.

Both Logan and Alexis were born and raised in Iowa. They both graduated from the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) where they met. They are currently living in Southern Florida. They are joining forces to share “something else” with all of you. Follow along for their deep dives into news headlines, movie and television reviews, favorite travels, sometimes rational rants, funny (at least to the two of them) stories, and everything in between.
