This is a 7 episode podcast series that will discuss the question “where are you from”. My argument today is to ask people to stop asking the question “where are you from”, and should do so by becoming educated on the issue. Some of the main discussion points reflect how race, ancestral roots, language, and other factors all play a role in defining the question “where are you from”, where the question itself causes many negative implications and sensitivities.
