All that Jesus did and taught involved two key components—a word of challenge and a word of invitation. Through obedience (responding to challenge) we can come to understand love. But without love, obedience is abuse. Through love, we can come to trust and obey. But love without boundaries and expectations is saccharin—it spoils us in the worst sense because it is not actually real love, but an artificial version.

Introduction

Our goal is simple: to love well and live differently. Jesus called his followers to stop judging and start forgiving, challenging them to love well. As we do our priorities change. We invest in our community and we begin to live differently.
