Phillip Parker Detective (Retired) welcomes you to listen to “The Thin Blue Line Podcast” which is an opportunity to hear his interpretations and opinions of fictional characters in law enforcement novels. The Podcast will give insight from a Police Officer’s perspective. The first series up for discussion focuses on the career and cases of a popular character Hieronymus “Harry” Bosch created by author Michael Connelly. Harry Bosch is a Los Angeles Homicide Detective with an affinity for solving serial slayer investigations. This series was chosen to be the first because of how the characters bring authenticity and realism to the story lines. Bosch has been entertaining readers for 26 years serving as a hero, maverick and, nighthawk that shows how crimes are not solved in a neat and unrealistic fashion. As Harry would say “Everybody counts or nobody counts”
