* You need to put the word か at the end of statement.

"What" question:

なんじ　ですか。

これは　なん　ですか。

What is this?

たべもの　は　なに　が　すき　ですか。

What kind foods do you like?

*What is pronounced either なに or なん depending on what word is connected.
