On this episode of the New Roots Community Radio Hour we finally had the opportunity to bring in our third board member and passionate volunteer, Shawna. She has been with the organization through many of its changes providing her knowledge and passion for including youth in the outdoors and gardening.

New Roots CO is a local Colorado non-profit that focuses on solutions to bridge the gap between the food waste in this country and the dire need for food. Our physical work may be located in Colorado, but this is work that is needed all over the country. Every other week on Thursday we host a local radio show in which we bring local experts on areas pertaining to food, waste, and sustainability to share their knowledge to benefit everyone.
