1 Timothy 4:7, 8 tells us that physical fitness has certain value, but spiritual fitness is essential for both this present life and for the life to come. We all have choices of where to make investments in our lives, whether it’s with our time, our money, or our attention, just to name a few. The question is, are we investing in things of eternal value, or things that are merely temporary? As revealed in Romans 8:32, let’s consider for a moment our Heavenly Father's amazing investment of Jesus-He held nothing back when He gave us His very best! What an awesome thought when we consider that God went “all in” on us. So, let’s be intentional with our lives and invest in the eternal, because the Eternal has invested in us.
