Invest in You (Your #1 responsibility)

Listen Later

We live in a society that tells us the more we do for others the better we are and that finds pride in working ridiculous hours just to prove our worth. We get caught up trying to do everything for everybody then we wonder why our mental and physical health is declining. This is an episode about filling our cups and putting our masks on first. Jody will tell a story about how he crushed himself for a project that was redone the moment he left and what he learned from it.

On “That L Word” we talk about love, empathy, trust, loyalty, listening, life, and ALL of the other things that people are afraid to say out loud in the same sentence with leadership.

Leadership is ALL about people and people have feelings, leaders included - so get in here! Sit down and let’s talk about the stuff that might make you uncomfortable, but will absolutely make you a better person and leader!
