Tom’s bio: “Like many investors that got into real estate, I was just looking for a means to build financial freedom from my daily 9-to-5, but didn't realize how addictive and fun rental properties would be. Through the advice of a friend, I would turn my first traditional rental in downtown Chicago into an Airbnb, and soon, go onto acquire 3 more short-term rentals within the span of 2 years. I'm a tinkerer by nature and I'm always trying out new ways to achieve above-market rent in this hypercompetitive market.
