When it comes to choosing investments, we tend to get fixated on returns. I don‘t want to focus on that as much as our next greatest concern: risk-taking. You obviously have to take some amount of risk in every investment, but you need to know what is optimal for you and your portfolio. This episode focuses on 3 factors that should be relied on to dictate your level of risk-taking: Your time horizon, your investment objective, and your personal risk tolerance. These, taken together, should allow you to take the proper risks in the proper places in your financial life.
