I will be preaching from Matthew 22:1-14, in which Jesus compares the Kingdom of Heaven to a king’s wedding feast. In the parable, people have strange reactions to the invitation to the wedding. Together we will think about our relationships with power and privilege, our need for comparison around issues of wealth, and how that might impact our willingness to be open-hearted and generous with our resources.
