Thanks to wordplay, we decided to talk about two scary things this Queek - The Invisible Man and Boy Erased. The first is a reimagining of the H.G. Wells horror classic, this time following a woman being terrorized by her (now invisible) abusive boyfriend. The second is a different kind of horror, as it's based on a true story about a young man's experiences in gay conversion therapy. As of recording, 30 states in the US still permit conversion therapy. If you are able, please consider donating to The Trevor Project, whose mission includes (among other things) passing legislation to ban conversion therapy. www.thetrevorproject.org
