Invitation to Be ready.
One consistent theme in the Bible is to be ready. There is to be no guessing or taking it easy to respond to being ready. YOU are ready, or you are not ready! It is what it means to be a disciple. I am ready to share my faith, live with expectation, and hold on to hope – with all my being. Today, we look to Jesus' prophetic discourse on the Mt of Olives, talking with His disciples. A location that we will return to in the coming future. A poignant reminder to always be ready. Like the Evangelist who prompts us to question, "Am I ready to meet Jesus?". Let us stay awake and not fall asleep.
