Auckland Art Gallery is about to be transformed by a sea of dots! Designer Hannah Manning-Scott talks about the opportunity the gallery is giving visitors to follow the lead of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama and fill up a space with dots. It’s called the Obliteration Room. You are invited to enter the world of the artist and 'obliterate' an entirely white domestic space by adding colourful dot stickers to the furniture, objects and surfaces to transform it into an extraordinary blur of colours.
