The Trinitarian Godhead of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have been in an eternal relationship of perfect self-giving love far before the foundations of the earth. Self giving love is at the heart of the Trinitarian reality. Though mankind has fallen and rejected our relationship with the Lord; through identification with Christ’s perfect, complete, and sufficient life, death, burial, and resurrection we are now recipients and participants in the very same love that God the Father has had for His eternal Son Jesus Christ! This love is the basis for our identity in Christ Jesus. We have been invited to the table!
