It’s the 5th installment of iPad Crowdfunds! This is where I look at all the crowdfund platforms out there and let you know what people are working on. These crowdfunds (including Kickstarter and Indiegogo) look for backers to help bring their product to market. In return – you get a great deal on what might be the breakout item of 2014!
iTrans4mer for iPad
This is an accessory which can not only turn your iPad into a laptop, it can become a stand, a wall mount, under the counter mount and more. This Indiegogo project is ending soon and has a ways to go with the perks. I can see this becoming a very versatile tool for your iPad.
Padcaster Mini
This group previously crowdfunded the Padcaster, which was highlighted on the latest Apple commercial. A great way to turn your iPad mini into a powerful video camera, photo camera and more. The case can also be used as a cowboy mount for your DSLR or consumer camera, or put the iPad on the tripod to become a teleprompter!
This Kickstarter has been funded, but still enough time to get an early bird model at a great price!
CruxEncore for iPad Air
Turn your iPad Air into a laptop. This case – keyboard combination not only will protect your iPad, but also turn it into a laptop. It’s not going to give you USB ports or anything like that, just a bluetooth keyboard that can flip around so you can use your iPad like an iPad. You can also use the case as an upright stand in landscape mode. This Kickstarter has a month to go with only half of their funding covered!
Vampeo FiLux Cable
This cable is meant for iPhone, but the creators have noted it works well with iPad. The cable lights up so you can find the Lightning connection easy. The stiffened end allows you to plug in the device so it stays upright. Perfect to use as a car-mount. They are looking for $18,000 and have a ways to go.
Snooperscope for iOS, Android
The best part of this crowdfund is you can connect this device to any smartphone or tablet. The Snooperscope is a light which will give you a night vision look through your device. The snooperscope even will work with DSLR and commercial cameras.
At first I thought it was a wireless camera attachment, but that is not the case. This Indiegogo project raised their goals, but still have time to get yourself one!
