Mike Lang is a Technology Instructor who helps students solve problems in creative ways. He was recently featured by Apple on MLK Day in the Apple Newsroom. Last month he initiated a three-part project with his kindergarten and first-grade students to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy and instill a sense of civic duty in them.

Every student has their own iPad and his projects really take advantage of the iPad enabling students to express themselves in ways it would be difficult to on other devices. In this interview, we dive into that project detailed in the write-up by Apple and a myriad of topics related to using the iPad for education especially in this remote learning environment we find ourselves in.
