On ATTITUDES! this week Erin speaks on the women led uprising in Iran, which was sparked with the death of Mahsa Amini, as 22 year old woman arrested by morality police for allegedly violating Iran's strict rules requiring women to cover their hair with a hajib, or headscarf. The reports were that they were beaten to death, the police said she suffered a heart attack. The BBC and other independent media are barred from reporting from inside Iran, Iran Human Rights, a Norway-based group, has said at least 201 people, including 23 children, have been killed by security forces.
