Ireland's 9/11: Why It Matters

On 17th May, 1974, three bombs ripped through Dublin, with a further explosion in the town of Monaghan. Thirty-four people were killed, and 300 injured. This was a more serious death toll than 9/11, compared to national population, and the most serious attack since Irish independence.
