Wichapi was the matriarch of the village in "Kiksuya." It was a small part, but quite essential to Akecheta's journey. We spoke to the actress behind the part, Irene Bedard who is also the voice actor of Disney's "Pocahontas." We spoke with Irene about her heritage, her experiences on the show, and of course, what it's like being Pocahontas.
