Mission isn’t just something that happens somewhere else. It begins with the people God has already placed around us. When Jesus changes our lives, He changes the way we see others and calls us to carry the hope we’ve received to them.

What does it look like for the church to live with true unity in a divided world?

God answers by filling them with the Holy Spirit, and while the room shakes, the greater miracle is what happens in the people: they leave changed and ready to keep following Jesus regardless of the cost. Expect Something challenges us to pray believing God is able to move, while leaving room for the unexpected...because sometimes the first evidence of answered prayer isn’t that God changes what’s around us, but that He changes what’s within us and then sends us out to make a difference.
